Turning Point

Visualizing change and anticipating what lies ahead is a skill I've worked to develop over many years. It involves overcoming fears and negativity and requires a visionary perspective to move from my current position to where I want to be. It doesn't define time or space and demands that I simultaneously "let go" of the vision without expectations. It's about envisioning something that hasn't yet materialized, while understanding that my only power lies in that visualization.
I had been painting for weeks on "Zen Walk", trying to find that inner peace and balance I so yearned for in this tumultuos reality. A Zen Walk is a slow walking meditation looking at everythin with love and acceptance.
It took weeks for the image to come through and it was a struggle. For weeks, I worked on Zen Walk, seeking the inner peace and balance I longed for in this chaotic reality. It took time for the image to emerge, and it was a challenging process, trusting and making choices.

As the image came into focus, I understood that I was grasping for something I hadn't felt, at least not yet.
So I went to these to canvases expressing what I also saw and visualized:
Turning Point 1

Turning Point 2

Life and art are intertwined and serve as an escape simultaneously.
these paintings are available in my studio.
