Different Realities

The direct inspiration for this image is water. The underwater world is so
different than the world above water for us humans. Its colorful, strange
shapes and creatures confront us when floating in this world of distant
memories. Life begins underwater, and we unconsciously are connecting with
that memory. The world more familiar to us is the surface of water. The
ripples, the waves and boats as vessels for the journey floating along.
There is a connection or threshold between the two realities symbolized by
the ladder conscious and unconscious our realities informing our lives.
