Long Distance Calling
16 x 17 Giclee Print
The symbols drawn at the lower half of
the image are influenced by
petroglyphs and by my own symbolic language inspired by the spiritual
energy
so present in the Southwest. the coiled snake and the triangle are symbols
for the feminine, with hands reaching up, maybe asking for help or asking
questions. This triangle could also be read as a deer with antlers, the
deer
signifying gentle energy. The house shape (here up side down) also stands
for the self or the feminine. It is not important that it is upside down.
The title refers to the spiritual always waiting or calling for us to
be
aware and listening. |
